For now I changed the order, let's see if this is better, if I get enough complains I'll change it back hehe :P

In the future I'll make it optional.

Well nova just because it will not confuse you...

Anyway i dont know why we are arguing over this, ronnie should be able to add an option to reverse it for those who wish, and are you talking about in the thread? Because lith forum is not like that is it? Topic's simply do not bump i thought?

Clarify your statement?

How could "reverse order" posts be confusing. No one seems to have had a problem with the Monolith forum, and it's been this way since the very beginning.

It's simple, the most recent post is at the top. The older the post, the further down the page it appears. No one wants to read the old posts, they only care about the NEW ones (thus they are prominantly displayed at the TOP).

Pretty much everything is possible since everything you see here is programmed by myself. :P It's just that it's a beta version because I don't have much time this month, I'm working at a hospital's laboratory to get some work experience. :)

I think you're both right, post in reverse order might be confusing but what is possible, say 10 posts on 1 page and have multiple pages per thread, and then when you click a link on the thread/topic overview it just goes to the last page or even to the last new post.

I'll pile on to your work load as well then....

It would be nice if the posts were in reverse order in each thread. In other words, the most recent posts on top and progressively getting older toward the bottom. That way you would not have to scroll all the way down to the bottom to read the one new message in the thread. Not sure if this is possible to do with the forum software you're using, but it would be much more user friendly if it could be done.

Yeah I think I better hide the IPs because you have to register here anyway, so it's not that you can fake someones nick orso, like on lith. :-)

There will be a rom1 site in a few monhts, working on it atm, and also some improvements to the forum like editing posts and a personal profile, but I'm very busy at school at the moment. The send my to a hospital for a month to see what my job would be like when I'm finished with school. So not much time left for my websites. :P

Well for one thing can you possibly hide the ip's? (or add an option) and could you expand your forum to add rage of mage's 1 (and add a message to the rom1 forum)

there are alot of people who go there asking about rage of mage's 2 it seem's, anyway just a thought ^.^
