Just a reminder....I'm still hosting a NWN server.

I'm up to rev 03M on the World of Torr module now. I'm trying to keep a steady schedule of making at least a half dozen updates to the module every week.

If you want to play, you can find my server in the ROLEPLAY tab on GameSpy. There may be as many as 3 World of Torr servers. Mine is the one with 03M revision. Another is Hardcore (no real modifications) and the last is WoT3.00 which is Vane's server. An entire programming team has been working on that version for about 4 years.

If you can't find my server via GameSpy, you can direct connect at IP 50.83.17.154

To play on my server, you'll need:

- full NWN game
- both expansion packs (SoU & HotU)
- CEP2.3a (or higher)
- custom HAKs which you can get at http://LindsayGames.webs.com

Hope to see some more players.

Haha. Well, all of these modules leave a lot to be desired, but they are at least playable.

I took the server down to reboot my computer and essentially forgot to put the damned thing back up. It wasn't intentional. But I also think I've learned all I need to from this particular module. My intention was never to run the thing long term, simply to evaluate it for ideas to steal. Frankly, there's not much there to steal. There are 19 major issues/problems to every 1 good thing about it. The one noteworthy feature is the implementation of ridable horses, but that can be fairly easily implemented into any module. It's mostly just hooking the right horse control scripts into at least a dozen existing ones for any given module.

I'm not sure where I'm going next. I have a few more modules I want to evaluate in the same way I did ANNWN. I'll probably see if I can get any of the others to load and run. Are you game to try those modules out next??

Nova,

Your server has been down for a few days. You on vacation again???

I was just beginning to enjoy the module. A bit slower than Rhun or Nordock. Never-the-less very playable.

Interesting module concept even if it slides to the morbid side.

We have come a long ways from where we started. Looking back you never thought you would be able to mod the files. For a non-trained programmer you have done superb. Just keeps getting better. Next to the big MMROP's NWN shines bright. Mostly free except for the CD.

You noobs and Rom2 stick in the muds should try NWN. It's all that Rom2 never was and more.
