Many thanks, Dark Castle is pretty nice, and Dark Age's spawn point is just spectacular in design!

I've put Nightfyre's maps and 2 more Master's maps on Zippyshare.

The Nightfyre's maps are not all of his making. The extra Master's maps are cute shop maps.

And good luck with your work in progress. Hamachi would work for testing I think.

I think I have almost all common maps, my map folder has over 500 files. Yeah, I would prefer getting the original, not edited maps, but if it's not possible, then better to have the edited ones than don't have anything at all. I don't request them just because I neccesarily want to pass them forward, I just like to examine them and their triggers. :P

Yeah, I dreamed about making a hat for a while now and am planning on it, but it would be NOT VERY SOON, and I mean it. But I'm creating some brand new maps, and literally have a .txt file on my desktop in which I note all my ideas for new ones, so get ready, because it will be like no other hat.

I need to do some trigger-testing for multiplayer mode, is anyone willing to participate? What's the easiest way to play together? Hamachi?

I suppose you have all common maps?
Problem with special maps is that some are heavily edited. Meaning I edited them to suit the nature of my hats, different gear and weapons.
It'll take a few days to sort them out, mind you without being able to use the map editor.

BTW, are you planning on making a hat some day?

By 'gems' I mean not only good maps, but any maps not commonly known and played. I don't want to sound cheeky, but maybe you can just upload your entire folder? :)

Thank you.

The map sure is advanced as heck in terms of triggers, I think it's the most complex I've seen so far. Do you have any more such gems?

Thank you very much, but I didn't use my real e-mail address when creating account here, because I knew it would be visible to everyone and I personally don't like it. Could you upload the map to http://zippyshare.com/ and post the download link here? It's easy and quick.

Oh I forgot to mention, NightFall made more very good maps, mostly horror.
All credit to him.

>Skeleton King

I requested this map long ago and only keep hearing about how good it its. ;( Does anyone have it?

I would also love to see Charlotte's Web. Could you please say more about it? What exactly it looked like, and why wasn't it easy to get the bag?

Most of my favorites are going to be derived based upon gameplay when all the shops have been removed (which was done on all my Chaos series of HATs from Chaos2 thru Chaos14).

Dangerous Road is excellent because it has several inns which are FAR from each other but thus offer some rewards when there are NO shops

Pandora's Box is excellent because it is small, but has a few excellent skilling areas

Terra mortis is probably my favorite HARD level map also because it is LARGE with inns placed far from each other but useful for questing for rewards when there are no shops AND because there are a few great spots to get LOTS of nice gear and XP

As for horror quest maps, I like:

Quest to Isles of Hell
Havec Quest
Rodion Quest
King Arthur Armor Quest
World of Ali
my own Knights of the Abyss series of course (all 5 maps)
Skeleton King (Master's masterpiece)

By far the most impressive ROM2 map ever made (in my opinion) I no longer have a copy of....Charlotte's Web. The map consisted of exactly two monsters and one prize loot bag sitting between them and it was literally impossible to get that prize bag solo no matter what gear your char had or how powerful or even hacked your char was.....absolutely impressive as hell creative map design and yet the smallest and simplest map ever made.

I'm sure I've missed a bunch in my short list above.

What are your favorite maps and why?
Im' a sucker for maps looking old-school campaign mode or Rage of Mages I, and maps with creative use of altitude tool.

My list:
+Green Land - I really like that this map offers an adventure - a linear path with gradually stronger enemies. Shame there's not any reward at the end, though.
-Deadly Hills - Looks so good, and very nice hills.
-Troll Valley - Feels so large, there's much to do.
-Water World - Unique, feels large, offers serious challenge.
-River Fork - Nice quests, nice shops.
-Desert Snake - I don't really like the gameplay, but my favorite purely because of the minimap.

What are yours?
