| Thank you but I already created my shop :) The guide on http://tatooine.fortunecity.com/zelazny/397/ helped me a lot. I finished my first map! I think it's cool and I will upload it here :p |

| i have a file for editing shops, don't know whom i got it from hope this helps As for the shops: Is easy to set them up any way you like. No scrolls? No problem! e.g. Take a look at the shop on Kids3. Press 'special' to pop up the shop inventory screen. There are 4 shelves. Shelf 1 has the common armor, shelf 2 common weapons, shelf 3 magic stuff, shelf 4 potions and scrolls. By pressing on those shelves you can adjust them. Deleting all entries on shelf 3 and 4 would leave the shop with only common non magic weapons and armor. Too little materials for magic users? Make a shelf with 'none', clothes, staffs and magic only and you have a shop for magicians :) Actually for a magian only shelf with rods and clothes you need to select: -Magic wood -None -Armor -Staffs -1 or more shapes (try out) -magic The numbers in the first screen should be something like: 0 20000 30 1 (experience with this, its about allowing how many items of what quality are on the shelves) Problem both with adjusting shops and inns is that you are NOT ready by just pressing 'ok'! You NEED to REPLACE the structure by left clicking on it! If you dont do that nothing will change and the next time you load the map all values are the old ones. |

| Anyone that can teach me using the map editor? lol I already learned some things but I got some doubts... 1 - I put new players (one for neutral and another for enemy) and I set the diplomatic relations. The problem is when I test the map the monsters don't attack me and I can also move them... When I put units I select the player I want, or do I need to select them again to select what player are they? 2 - I want to build decent shop and inn on my map but I don't know how. The shops I create only have stupid items that worth nothing... To build a shop what parameters should I put? I hope someone answers to these two questions... For now... lol |
