Lord Atton,

My Hak Pak creates 3 metamagic feats to use in place of the
3 original ones: Extend, Empower, Maximize.

The original 3 feats are still "known" to the game.
I could not delete them because the game expects them to exist
(they are hard-coded to that point!)
But I made so that nobody can take them anymore.
Instead you find my 3 substitutes.


If your old mages (born "outside" of my Hak Pak) possess the
original metamagic feats, you should de-level back in order to
remake the choice, and pick up _my_ metamagic feats.
Makes sense?

This speech only applies to:
- Extend Spell metamagic
- Empower Spell metamagic
- Maximize Spell metamagic

You will recognize my feats because they have a _yellow_ icon.
There is no risk to pick up again the original feats, because
they are made unavailable.


The mobs can use my spells, yes.
But I made sure that no AI mage is advantaged over players.

In everything that is spell-related, and in which the Level of
a character makes any difference, I have made so that _nobody_
gets to count as "past Level 40".

Said another way:
Players stop at level 40.
As far as my spells are concerned, the AI stops at 40 as well.
Take it to the letter.

Currently the mobs can not make use of my Metamagic.
I must write a Custom AI for that.
At the moment this is above my possibilities.

Ok I get the picture. I have a level 28 Sorcerer and a few wizards, but none higher. But any improvement is the NWN game is a step up. Nove was wondering if the mobs can use this system too. Would seem that way. I will be testing yourt spell system in awhile. It is running on my server and Nova's.

We will see.

There is no way I can tell in 1 post what my Spell System does.
All I can say is: it substitutes the original Spell System of NWN.
That, along with its built-in flaws.

I do not invent new mechanics that force you to seek documentation.
All you need to know is in the spell descriptions (I updated those

At most you should know that now I use a new metamagic system that
allows you to combine your metamagic in a way similar to that of D&D.
If you know what that means, and if you know how the NWN metamagic
worked, you will certainly appreciate my changes.

Here is the only problem: to comprehend all I did, and the magnitude
of it, you must be an experienced user of at least 1 spellcaster Class
in NWN. You must have played NWN + SOU + HOTU with a spellcaster.
You must have "seen" the problems in the original Spell System to
realize that those problems are absent in my System.

Else -using my System- you can only notice that there is no problem.
And you would question "why use the fox Spells then?" -- Haha.

Nova is using your NWN spell system. I have not looked at the file. Hak pak

I can't see what it does. Can you explain!
